# MICHAEL Updated: 2026-07-15 ## Data Scientist, Dancer, Creative Deutsche Fassung: [llms-full.de.txt](llms-full.de.txt) --- ## Opus Purum · The Pure Working · An Axiomatic Framework An attempt to state magic without myth and without apparatus: a sober model of how consciousness shapes reality. Eight chapters. ### 0. The One Reality is not a collection of separate things that occasionally interact. It is a field that differentiates itself: a process that comes to know itself through individuation and completes itself through return. Separation is real, but as a function: the form through which the One can experience itself. A human being is such a form, a node of differentiation with the capacity for reflection. Magic, then, does not mean a subject acting on an alien reality. It is the conscious participation of a coherent node in the self-organization of the whole. The highest working brings one's own will into alignment with the Logos of reality. Then resistance disappears, because there is no opponent left. ### I. Axioms 1. **Reality is process, not state.** There are no static entities, only patterns in becoming. What appears as a thing is a temporary node in a web of causal relations, carried by an order that generates, sustains, and transcends itself. 2. **Consciousness is causal, not epiphenomenal.** Attention, intention, and the revision of models are not byproducts of real processes. They are real processes. The observer does not stand outside the system. 3. **The Self is plastic.** Identity is not a given, but an ongoing process of construction. Every self-model can be revised. That does not make it arbitrary; it makes it free, within constraints. 4. **No truth is absolute, therefore all truth is operational.** A model is not true or false. It is effective, precise, useful, or none of these. Being able to move between paradigms is not a weakness but the precondition of full agency. 5. **Alignment is more effective than control.** Complex systems have an order-direction of their own; call it Logos, Tao, or simply structure. Work with it and you have effect. Work against it and you wear yourself out. ### II. The Divine The Divine, as used here, means no person, no will, and no supernatural force, but the principle of self-organization of reality itself: the attractor toward which complexity tends; the Logos underlying all change; the structure that becomes reflexive in human consciousness. To know the Divine is not to believe. It is to know the direction of the flow and to work with it. Magic, in this sense, is alignment, not command. The magician commands nothing of reality; he tunes himself to it until his willing and its becoming coincide. The Divine is not beyond the magician. It is that of which he is a differentiation. Whoever recognizes this stops looking for an external force and remembers the internal one. ### III. The Self The Self is the magician's operating system, and like any operating system it can be revised, extended, transformed. * **Priors**: Ingrained beliefs that filter perception before it becomes conscious. They decide which reality is accessible at all. * **Narratives**: Causal stories about identity and world. They do not describe, they construct: they produce the continuity that makes the self appear coherent. * **Attention Architecture**: The structure that decides which signals are granted access. Attention is not neutral observation but an intervention. The most common mistake is to take the Self as given. The rarer one, to take it as arbitrary. The Self is the point from which one acts: stable enough to act, permeable enough for what wants to work through it. The Great Work is not to become more powerful, but more transparent. ### IV. Mechanism of Effect * **Attention Causality**: What is consistently invested with intention changes: through behavior, perceptual filters, social signals, and emergent patterns. This is observable and needs no supernatural explanation. * **State-Dependent Revision**: Cognitive priors can only be revised in certain states of consciousness. Intense concentration or intense arousal briefly dampens the metacognitive system. In that window, reconditioning becomes possible that is blocked in the normal state. Gnosis is the practical name for this window. * **Semiotic Reorganization**: Experienced reality is mediated by signs. Symbols, rituals, and names reorganize the structure of meaning through which perception runs and action is channeled. Work on signs is therefore work on reality. All three mechanisms share the same deep structure: no subject manipulates an external reality. A coherent node re-inscribes itself into the self-organization of the whole and arises together with it. ### V. Sovereignty Sovereignty is the magician's goal: not power over others, but full authorship of one's own life, from one's own center. Concretely, that means: responsive rather than reactive. Inhabiting convictions instead of being inhabited by them. Operating because it works, rather than believing because it is comfortable. Carrying the ground of one's actions within oneself. Sovereignty is not isolation; only those who do not lose themselves can truly contribute. **The Consequence**: Whoever becomes sovereign is harder to manipulate, clearer in relationships, and freer in thought. They also carry more responsibility, because no external system relieves them anymore. That is the price. ### VI. Freedom Freedom is not the absence of structure, but the ability to choose the structure within which one operates. Unfree is not the one who has rules, but the one who does not know their rules: who cannot tell which of their convictions they chose and which merely happened to them. Magic begins with this distinction. ### VII. Practice: The Essential Form 1. **Stillness**: Observe the Self without moving it. See what runs on its own. 2. **Intention**: Formulate precisely what is to become. A decision, not a wish. 3. **State**: Produce a state of consciousness in which revision is possible. 4. **Symbol**: Condense the will into a form that bypasses rational consciousness. 5. **Forgetting**: Let go. The rational ego stands most in the way of its own desires. 6. **Alignment**: Act in everyday life as if what is willed already had direction. That is all there is to it. No myth, no apparatus. Less a technique than a remembering of what one already is. --- ## Principles The principles Michael thinks and acts by. Three modules: cognition, being, doing. ### Cognition Four sequential axioms describing the formal conditions and limits of cognitive systems: 1. **Interpretive Asymmetry**: No cognitive system can fully model a system of higher complexity. Interpretive accuracy decreases monotonically with the complexity differential between observer and observed. 2. **Syntactic Integration**: Cognitive coherence is a function of the precision of a system's rule-based self-model. The completeness of syntactic self-representation determines the degree of uniformity of internal states. 3. **Symbolic Organization**: Behavioral organization scales with the robustness and compositionality of the symbolic self-model. More compositional internal representations produce more stable and plannable action sequences. 4. **Semantic Communication**: Communicative capacity is proportional to the semantic density of the self-model. The greater the meaning-assignment to internal states, the higher the transmissibility and comprehensibility of generated outputs. ### Being * **Love**: Recognition of truth/unity. * **Grace**: Radical acceptance of what is. * **Gratitude**: Appreciation of aliveness. * **Awe**: Recognition and giving. * **Responsibility**: Response-Ability / Co-Creation. * **Trust**: Knowing the power. * **Accountability**: Truth-Congruence. * **Impeccability**: Protection of integrity. * **Mindfulness**: Nourishing attention. * **Fearlessness**: Recognition of the eternal nature. * **Engaged Detachment**: Non-judgmental observation / Zero Point. * **Joy**: Decision for embodiment. ### Doing * **Signal Discrimination**: Telling impulse from intuition: noise from signal. * **Hierarchical Control**: The higher mind leads, the lower follows. * **Law Compliance**: Acting through intent, consent, and authority, in alignment with natural law. * **Vector Alignment**: Clarifying motivation: away from service-to-self (entropy), toward service-to-others (negentropy). * **Homeostasis**: Actively restoring balance and harmlessness. * **Internal Referencing**: Guidance from within. Autonomous control instead of external manipulation. * **Resource Logic**: Releasing ownership, taking up stewardship: managing energy instead of holding it. * **Applied Cognition**: Knowledge only counts once it is acted on. Wisdom validates itself through service. * **Pattern Recognition**: Recognizing and seeing through deception and ego filters. * **Zero-Point Observation**: Observing without emotional charge: the merciful witness. * **Integral Synthesis**: Accepting the whole of reality, without spiritual bypassing. * **Signal Congruence**: Being the example. Teaching through resonance rather than rhetoric: being the frequency you emit. --- ## Exocortex Michael's external memory: a local, self-hosted architecture that stores knowledge, links it, and separates signal from noise. ### Orchestration Home Assistant (action layer) coupled with N8N (decision layer). ### Memory & Inference RDF store as single source of truth. Local LLMs. ### Operations SecDevOps, GitOps, causal inference modeling. --- ## Relationships How Michael shapes relationships: without ranking and without ready-made scripts. What a connection is, the people in it negotiate themselves: what closeness, what commitments, what form. The frame for this is relationship anarchy, based on Andie Nordgren's manifesto (2006). ### Principles * **Love is not a scarce resource**: Several bonds do not diminish one another. Each relationship counts on its own, without comparison or ranking. * **No primary status**: No connection needs a label to be real. What it is, the people in it decide themselves. * **Spontaneity over obligation**: Meeting grows out of the wish to meet, not out of expectation or fear of consequences. * **Commitments are negotiated**: Obligations are agreed on explicitly, not inherited silently from norms. * **No entitlement**: Feelings or shared history grant no right to control another person's behavior. * **Self-clarity**: Naming one's own values, boundaries, and expectations instead of adopting them from role scripts. ### Building Blocks Every connection chooses its own building blocks. No combination is a deficit or a preliminary stage of something more complete. * **Intimacy**: emotional closeness, physical closeness, sexuality. * **Connection**: companionship, long-term commitment, visibility. * **Care**: support, shared responsibility. * **Structure**: entanglement (shared living, finances, everyday life), collaboration. * **Modalities**: kink, deliberate asymmetry (mentorship, guidance with clear role asymmetry). Not as a metaphor. Lux Aperta Bavaria is an open field for people who know magic as direct experience, or want to. Not as theory, not as belief: as bodily reality. What emerges here grows in the field between people who are consciously present. That is magic in its most direct form: playful exploration of creation, with one's own body as the instrument. You need no particular worldview. Only the willingness to put direct experience above concepts. Lux Aperta is not a secret order. It is its opposite. All formats are free of charge; Michael hosts these spaces openly. ### Iter Apertum · The Open Way Sunday, 11:00. Full light. We walk: no agenda, no lecture, no prepared answers. No guru, no degrees of initiation. A walk with intent: movement and daylight as the practice space, open encounter as the method. What emerges when people are consciously present interests us more than what we think about it. We walk in groups of three, one lap through the park each; then the groups reshuffle. A circle to open, a circle to close, and a slow wind-down at a café. * **Rhythm**: Sundays at 11:00, roughly monthly * **Place**: A park in Regensburg * **Duration**: 60 to 90 minutes * **Prerequisites**: None ### Convivium Apertum · The Stationary Format The same stance without movement. In pairs, one person speaks for three minutes while the other only listens; then they switch. Ten minutes of silence follow before the conversation opens to everyone. Listening without replying does here what walking side by side does outdoors: nobody performs, nobody lectures.
