Several sine tones a fixed interval apart rise together. A bell curve over the logarithmic frequency axis fades them in at the bottom and out at the top. When the highest one disappears, a new one appears at the bottom: the pitch class keeps moving while the register stays where it is. In the spectrogram these are the diagonal stripes. Gliding, this is the Shepard-Risset glissando; in steps, the Shepard scale.

The spacing does not have to be an octave. Any other interval gives a pattern that only repeats after that interval. The binaural beat moves the left and right copy of each tone apart by the set difference and needs headphones.

Using itAnwendung
- Start quiet. Use headphones for the binaural beat, panning, and tremolo phase.
- Pick a preset as a starting point, then change one thing at a time. The spectrogram shows the result as it happens.
- The Model view draws the components as the engine computes them. The Analyzer view shows what actually comes out after filters and reverb.
- Set a duration and the session fades out and stops by itself. At zero it runs until you stop it.
- Leise beginnen. Für binauralen Beat, Panorama und Tremolo-Phase Kopfhörer benutzen.
- Ein Preset als Ausgangspunkt wählen, dann eine Sache nach der anderen ändern. Das Spektrogramm zeigt das Ergebnis sofort.
