The principle
Most vocabularies begin with things. This one begins with acts. Every substantive class is a gerund — Symbolizing, Manifesting, Perceiving — because a symbol is not an object that happens to mean something, it is a standing-for that is happening. The static counterparts (pm:Symbol, pm:Concept, pm:Entity, pm:Object) are not merely unused; a SHACL shape rejects them.
Three further commitments follow from that one. An awareness context tags every assertion with the epistemic mode it was made in, so a claim spoken from inside a tradition and a philologist's report about that tradition can live in one graph without collapsing into each other. A meaning cluster treats a bounded subgraph, not an isolated triple, as the unit that carries meaning — Bhartṛhari's sphoṭa, where the whole utterance means and the phonemes only participate. And an awareness space replaces the isolated self/other pair with a spectrum: individual, dyadic, collective, universal.
What follows is the vocabulary as it currently stands: every term compiled from the Turtle sources in this repository, drawn as the graph it is.
The ontology
Ask the corpus a question, or change what the drawing is drawing. Spelling is forgiven, words that keep company in the same term are followed, and kind:, type:, tradition:, source:, coverage:, contact: and has: narrow the field — -has:source for what asserts without saying on what, coverage:corpusNamed for the corpora named and not yet opened.

- prima-materia.jsonld the same graph, JSON-LD
- context.jsonld the JSON-LD context alone
